1. Overview
This Cancellation & Refund Policy ('Policy') governs the cancellation and refund procedures for subscriptions and services purchased through ExamDedo. By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
Due to the digital nature of our services, standard cancellation and refund policies may differ from physical product policies. Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period:
- Immediate Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription immediately, but you will retain access until the end of your paid billing period.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of your subscription period.
- Auto-Renewal: Cancelling your subscription prevents automatic renewal but does not provide a refund for the current period.
- Cancellation Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation upon successful cancellation.
- Reactivation: You may reactivate your subscription at any time, and billing will resume from the reactivation date.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are processed only under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Technical Errors: If you are unable to access the Service due to persistent technical issues on our end (lasting more than 48 hours) that we cannot resolve.
- Duplicate Charges: If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription due to a payment gateway error.
- Unauthorized Transactions: If your payment method was used without your authorization, subject to verification by your financial institution.
- Service Non-Delivery: If you do not receive access to the Service within 24 hours of payment confirmation (excluding payment verification delays).
- Billing Errors: If you are charged incorrectly due to our error (e.g., wrong amount, wrong plan).
4. Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are NOT eligible for refunds:
- Change of Mind: Refunds are not provided simply because you changed your mind or no longer wish to use the Service.
- Partial Usage: If you have used the Service (taken tests, accessed premium features) for more than 7 days, no refund will be provided.
- Dissatisfaction: General dissatisfaction with the Service, AI-generated content quality, or feature availability does not qualify for refunds.
- Account Violations: If your account is suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be provided.
- Expired Subscriptions: Refunds are not available for subscriptions that have already expired or been fully consumed.
- Third-Party Issues: Issues with payment gateways, banks, or third-party services that are beyond our control.
- Free Trial Expiration: No refunds are provided for free trial periods that have expired.
5. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, you must:
- Submit a refund request within 7 days of the transaction date for eligible circumstances.

- Provide proof of payment, transaction ID, and any relevant documentation supporting your refund claim.
- Allow up to 5-7 business days for us to review your request.
- Respond to any additional information requests from our team promptly.
6. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after approval.
- Refund Method: Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used for the transaction.
- Bank Processing: Additional time may be required by your bank or payment provider to reflect the refund in your account (typically 3-5 business days).
- Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
- Partial Refunds: In exceptional cases, we may provide partial refunds at our discretion.
7. Subscription Plan Changes
If you wish to upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan:
- Upgrades: Upgrading your plan takes effect immediately. You will be charged the prorated difference for the remaining billing period.
- Downgrades: Downgrading your plan takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refunds are provided for the current period.
- Plan Changes: You can change your plan at any time through your account settings.
- Feature Access: Access to features is adjusted based on your current plan level.
8. Annual Subscription Refunds
For annual subscriptions, the following special terms apply:
- Early Cancellation: If you cancel an annual subscription within the first 30 days, you may be eligible for a prorated refund (minus processing fees) at our discretion.
- After 30 Days: Annual subscriptions cancelled after 30 days are not eligible for refunds, but you retain access until the end of the paid period.
- Conversion: Annual subscriptions cannot be converted to monthly subscriptions mid-term, but you can switch to monthly upon renewal.
9. Institutional and Enterprise Plans
For institutional or enterprise subscriptions:
- Custom Terms: Refund and cancellation terms are governed by the specific contract or agreement signed with the institution.
- Bulk Purchases: Special refund policies may apply to bulk purchases or multi-year commitments.

10. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider:
- Account Suspension: Your account will be immediately suspended pending resolution of the dispute.
- Investigation: We will investigate the dispute and provide evidence to your payment provider.
- Resolution: If the dispute is resolved in your favor, a refund will be processed. If resolved in our favor, your account may be permanently terminated.
- Fees: Chargeback fees incurred by us may be deducted from any refund amount.
11. Special Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances beyond standard policy, we may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis:
- Medical Emergencies: Documented medical emergencies preventing Service use.
- Bereavement: Death in the immediate family with appropriate documentation.
- Natural Disasters: Regional disasters affecting Service accessibility.
- Legal Requirements: Court orders or legal requirements preventing Service use.
12. Refund Denial and Appeals
If your refund request is denied:
- Explanation: We will provide a clear explanation for the denial.
- Appeal Process: You may appeal the decision by providing additional documentation or evidence.
- Final Decision: Our decision on refund appeals is final and binding.
- Alternative Solutions: We may offer alternative solutions such as account credits or extended subscriptions.
13. Currency and Processing Fees
Important information about refunds:
- Currency: All refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) at the original transaction amount.
- Processing Fees: Payment gateway processing fees (typically 2-3%) may be deducted from refund amounts for non-error-related refunds.
- Exchange Rates: For international transactions, refunds are processed at the exchange rate applicable at the time of refund (may differ from original transaction rate).
- Taxes: Refunded amounts are exclusive of any taxes that may have been charged, which are non-refundable.
